Show Alleman, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Frandsen, Mr. and Mrs. Orland Thorn and the host and hostess. Members of the Old Friends club will meet Friday, March 27, at the home of Mrs. Merle Robertson. Rob-ertson. All members are urged to attend. Guy Brown and Lloyd Bird of this city were among those from Springville who attended the tournament games in Salt Lake City Thursday night. Members of the Busy Finger club will be entertained Thursday Thurs-day afternoon, March 26, at the home of Mrs. Marie Cranmer. Members of the Firemens' aux- Mrs. G. T. Nelson of this city entertained at a well arranged party at her home last Thursday evening in honor of her husband whose birthday occurrec: that day. Luncheon was served early in the evening- at small tables centered with spring flower., frogressive games featured the entertainment and high score prizes were awarded award-ed to Mrs. Paul Frandsen and Mrs. Orland Thorn. Guests included Mi, and Mrs. Jack Evans, Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Sumsion, Mr. and Mrs. Fenton Maiben, Mrs. Alda lliary held their regular monthly , meeting Monday evening at the J Firemen's hall. Mrs. Faye Snel-son Snel-son and Mrs. Paul Frandsen were hostesses. Cards featured the entertainment, en-tertainment, with the pribe for the evening going to Mrs. Richard Huntington. Luncheon was serv,-ed serv,-ed to the following members in attendance: Mrs. Lawrence Wheeler, Wheel-er, Mrs. Marjorie Bird, Mrs. Hazel Bird, Mrs. Mabel Brown, Mrs. Sarah Brown, Mrs. Mary Friel. Mrs. Eva Hanson, Mrs. Emily ; Miner, Mrs. Mary Weight, and Mrs. Huntington. Mrs. George Crandali will be hostess to members of the Social Twelve club at her home Thursday Thurs-day evening, March 26. All members mem-bers are asked to be present at 7:45 o'clock. Mrs. Lewis Childs . and Miss Myrtle Childs entertained a number num-ber of friends at a party Thursday Thurs-day afternoon at their home. High score prize was won by Miss Cora Gardner of Spanish Fork, and Miss Gladys Gardner of -Spanish Fork received the consolation. con-solation. Other guests in attendance attend-ance were Miss Blanch Jones, Mrs. Evelyn Williams of Spanish Fork, Mrs. Bill Hanson, Mrs. Dorus Bird, Mrs. Mary Bird, Mrs. Mary Verl Maycock and Mrs. Helen Sanford, of this city. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Thorn of Salt Lake City spent a few days of this week with relatives and friends in this city. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Salisbury and children left the past week to make their home in Salt Lake City. , Alva Delma club members were guests Wednesday night at the home of Mrs. Ann Johnson. Three tables of bridge were played, high score prize for the games going to Mrs. Mary Friel and second favor to Mrs. Carrie Tripp. Special guests during the evening were Mrs. Rose Roylance and Mrs. Roy Cates. A delicious luncheon, served serv-ed by the hostess, preceeded the games. The club will hold a "pot luck supper" party, at the home of Mrs. Mary Friel, on April 1. Mrs. Naomi Thorn was hostess to members of her club Wednesday Wednes-day afternoon. After a dainty luncheon, served at small tabels j bridge was played. Guests included in-cluded Mrs. Verona Thorn of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Madge Thorn, Mrs. Thelma Clark and Mrs. Leola Ewing.
