Show T ( 7rT'y Miss Ulllan Russell, Mrs. M.i Ja Sumsion, Mrs. Rhea Straw, Miss Ruth Musig, and Miss Ellen Wheeler tiave returned from an enjoyable vacation trip to the world's fair and other places of interest in-terest in the eastern and southern states witlT over .-600 students of the Omnibus college, the party studied uistory and historic spots at first hand. Classes and discussions discus-sions on various jlaces of Interest on the trip were held, making the tour a most enjoyable and educational educa-tional one. Mrs. Julia Maycock and Miss Ella Maycock spent the past week end at Diaper the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Reed Beck and family. Mr. and Mrs. Ford D. Crandall and children spent July 24 with Mr. and Mrs. D. A. Crandall 'nere. They were accompanied home by their son Kenneth who has spent his vacation with viis grandpar-1 ents. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Raleigh of Logan and Miss Marjorie Gatherum Gather-um of Sait Lake were guests of Mrs. Rhoda Beardail and famlly over the week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Lester Cowan of Salt Lake spent July 24 and Sunday Sun-day as guests of the latter's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Bryce. Mr. and- Mrs. Lee Erickson of Salt Lake spent the past w'eek end wit'.i Mr. Erickson's mother here. Roe Groesbeck accompanied by H. M. Dougall left the past week fur a vacation trip to California. Enroute they plan to visit Boulder dam. Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Reed and sen and daughter, and Miss Aline Reed all of Colorado also Mr. and ' Mrs. Alvin Reed of Alaska have returned to their homes after several days visit with Mr. and Mrs. Raljii Reed and family. The latter couple are returning to their home after an extended trip to the world's fair and the southern states. Mr. and Mrs. J. J.' Tayjor, , Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Reed and: Ml-., and Mrs Carl BlaekeU and families s,oent Monday in Hobble Creek canyon. , Miss Nell Weight of Sail Lake spent July 24 and t'ne week end with relatives here. A group or friends including Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Thorn, Mr. ami Mrs. John Whiting, Mr. and Mrs. A Yw Wheeler, Mr. and Mrs, E. O. Hall, Mrs..- Maud -Crandall' and Mrs.' Hattie Blackett motored to the Hot pots Sunday where-, a swim and delicious picnic lunc'.i were enjoyed. Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Grant - and children left Tuesday for , Destvo Colo, where they wilt spend several sever-al weeks. Mr. Grant is in charge of construction work there. Miss Aleen Wheeler, Miss Wilma Parker and Raymond Parker are on a vacation trip to the Northwest North-west T'oey plan to visit Mr. and Mrs. Will Wheeler at Tacoma. Wash, and also friends and relatives rela-tives in Seattle. Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Johnson spent the week end with Benjamin friends at Fish Lake. Mr .and Mrs. C. W. Bushard were among f.ie visitors at ! isli Lake over 1 lie week-end. Mrs George A. Anderson and her daughter Hazel, left Thursday morning to visit the world's fa.r at Chicago. They plan to go by way of Denver and Kansas C.ty. Mo. and from the latter city will he accompanied by anol'ner daughter, daugh-ter, Mildred, who recently completed com-pleted a nurse's training course at a Kansas City hospital. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Webster and baby daughter Virginia of Ames, Iowa are visiting Mrs. Webster's parents, Mr. and Mrs. John K. I ..-ir.lre, in this city, and will also visit other relatives in Idaho, during dur-ing their vacation. Announcement is made of the marriage of Miss Alberta Menden-'nall Menden-'nall of this city to Bliss Hoover of Provo which took place Wednesday Wed-nesday July 20 in the Manti temple. tem-ple. The coi.l.e left Thursday to make their home at Deer Lodge. Montana. They were accompanied lo the temple by Mr. and Mrs. V. C. Mendenhall. |
