Hnr- ! jiis stated that the chief function : of an educational institution was to prepare distinguished alumni. He was a man who had j been successful as a merchant, as a banker, as a manufacturer, as a member of the United States son-ate, son-ate, and as a religionist. The president presi-dent said he disagreed with the senator in only one particular, he works too hard.
