Show 1932 BUDGET APPROVED BY CITY COUNCIL A budget of 377,593.72 for 1932 1 i was oppioved by the Springville city council at the regular weekly . meeting Wednesday evening, in ad- , dition to $23,902.96 set aside for ; the Main street paving project. The proposed budget is $7,000 less than that of 1931, according to Harry Pennington, city recorder. A tax levy of 1 mill was authorized author-ized to raise $1161 to go toward the building of a memorial building from the old opera house here next year. The budget includes: General funds, $17,189; streets and walks, $7249; water works, $10,000; electric lights, $19,036.28; irrigation, $505; library, $2440; bond sinking fund, $9422.25; bond interest, $6970; abutters portion street paving district dis-trict No. 1, $2811.19. |
