Show NEW STREET EQUIPMENT IS IN OPERATION An extensive road improvement program began here ladt week with the arrival of a new No. 20 tractor, complete with scarifier and blades. Richard Huntington, newly appointed ap-pointed road supervisor, is operating operat-ing the machine. Several of the main thoroughfares thorough-fares are included in the repair program among which are Depot street, Fourth South street, extending ex-tending from Main east to the bench. Fourth East from the First ward chapel north to Center street, and East Center street. According to city officials the high school street will be finished in first class condition this week to make ready for the increased traffic over this road during the art exhibit. Other equipment authorized by the city council to be used in the city street improvements is an 800 gallon sprinkler with hoist and truck to be used in hauling gravel. |
