Show BO WEN SPEAKS AT CONFERENCE j HERE SUNDAY j The d'r-'ce by which one accepts I or rejects the "first vision'" by the Prophet Joseph F. Smith, determines deter-mines one's- standing in the Latter-day Latter-day Saints faith, according to E. O. Bo wen of the general Sunday school boiird, Salt Lake, who delivered de-livered the principal address at th Sunday school and priesthood conference con-ference held here Sunday. Superintendent Superin-tendent Karold Alleman was in charge. At 10 o'clock the ward bishops, Sunday school superintendents, stake presidency and quorum officials offi-cials assembled to discuss problems of their various departments. The afternoon session was general gen-eral and during this meeting a fine program was given as follows: talks on "Testimony" by President G. R. Maycock; a talk on "Mothers as Teachers in the Church" by Mrs. Margaret Miner; "The First Vision" was given by E. O. Eowen, Salt Lake, and musical numbers from the Second and Fourth wards were given under the direction of Miss I Alzada Wilmott and Miss Helen ! Palfrcyman. |
