Show SOCIETY NEVS Mrs. Rilia Keltey of this city, recently re-cently received word of the marriage mar-riage of her nephew, Bert F. Crandall, son of the late Mary C. Had ley, to Miss Audrey Miller of Sudberg, Ontario, Canada. His marriage will be of interest to his many friends in this city. Mr. Ciandall attended high schocE here nnd is now a mining engineer. The couple will reside at Sudburg, Ontario, On-tario, Canada. The First ward Relief society entertained with a program and social at the City park Tuesday afternoon with over eighty mem-, bers and guests attending. A feature fea-ture of the entertainment was a talk on the world fair by Miss Cleo Pierce. Mrs. John Hardy and Mrs. Ira Taylor entertained with a comic skit; Mrs. Ross Bradford, Hawaiian music selections; Miss Anna Miner and Miss Evelyn Larson, Lar-son, instrumental! music; Miss Bernice Chader, readings, and the Rev. Virgil Gaines gave several whistling numbers. Refreshments! were served in conclusion. The First ward deacon's quorum with Leo Felix, Daniel Whitney and Ivan Felix enjoyed an outing at Provona Beach Monday evening. even-ing. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin T. Hay-mond Hay-mond of Cedar City were guests the past week end of " parents here. They also attended an elaborate ela-borate dancing parcy and social given by the Utah Oil Refining company at Provona Beach onj Saturday night. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson and son Dick of Cedar City spent the week end with reHatives here and in Salt Lake. Mrs. Johnson will remain with her mother, Mrs. Rheumia Weight, ror several days before .returning. Mrs. L. A. Wilcox left recently for San Francisco, Calif., after spending several months with her mother Mrs. Rhoda Hatfield and sister Mrs. Ray Glazier in this city.-- The Fourth ward Gleaner gilts are planning a weinie roast at Rock House flat next Tuesday j arc spending their vacation with relatives here and at Spanish Fork. Friday en joyed an outing to American Fork , canyon, where they cooked their breakfast, took a trip through Timpanogos cave and later had a delicious camp fire dinner.
