Show "Y" Student Hurt In Canyon Crash ( Miss Irene Haynie of Salt Lake City, who was" a junior at the .B. Y. U. last year, suffered a deep eealp wound in an automobile accident acci-dent which occurred at the mouth of Spanish Fork canyon east of the overhead bridge Wednesday at 11 o'clock. The car, in which Miss Haynie was riding with her brother, A. V. Haynie and his wife and family, also of Salt Lake, overturned as it struck loose gravel. One of the Haynie boys was slightly hurt but none of the other members of the 1'arty suffered injuries. They were enroute to Salt Lake from a trip to Colorado. Miss Haynie was .taken to the office of Dr. John Anderson, and later removed to the home of Reedi E'i'd in Springville. Marshall Wallace Bird is investigating investi-gating the accident. |
