It is the day also, when the living ! give their pledge unto the dead, ; that this nation, under Go,t, shall endure forever." Mayor John L. PresiX dent J. Emmolt Mird. Calude Ash-worth Ash-worth of Provo, architect of t he building ana Commander J. W. Grant, in charge of the program were other speakers. G. L. Barron, legion chaplain offered the dedicatory dedi-catory prayer. The Fox sisters, Mrs. Julia Sum-si Sum-si on, Miss Helen Palfrey man, W. Elmo Cof man, Miss Iouise Coff-man Coff-man and the Springville municipal band, under the direction of Clair Johnson, furnished music. Following the program, the citizens citi-zens assembled at the city cemeteries, ceme-teries, where memorial exorcises were conducted under the direction of the legion. The legion and auxiliary aux-iliary members had, previous to the. exercises, decorated the gnives of the veterans with poppy wreaths. A baseball game between the , Spanish Fork and Springville farm bureau teams, in which the home ! eam was the victor, featured the afternoon's ent ertainment.
