Show PLAN EXHIBIT AT STATE FAIR Winners of 4-H Club Contest To Enter State Contest At State Fair. Using the cream of the county fair exhibits as a nucleus, an imposing im-posing display, representing Utah county, is now being placed at the state fair under the direction of C. L. Warnick of Pleasant Grove. The exhibit will include products from the principal industries and manufacturing plants of the coun-j coun-j ty, being designed to present a l graphic representation of the po-j po-j tcntial resources of this section, mineral, agricultural and scenic, i The exhibit will be in competition with other county displays in the same class. A silver loving cup goes to the winning county. 1 The county will also be rcpre-! rcpre-! sented in the dairy division with a : county herd in addition to the animals ani-mals entered by individual dairymen. dairy-men. Nine boys and three girls, members mem-bers of the 4-H clubs, who won honors in the county fair, will compete com-pete again at the state fair. Among the group are Afton Lewis Lew-is and Marian Campbell, of Pleasant Pleas-ant View, girls' demonstration team; Grant Atwood and Calvin Swenson, boys' demonstration team. Othes to attend will be four stock judging winners and two members of the Mapleton forestry club. Winners in the boys' and girls' health contest will be announced later, according to Miss Amy Leigh, county home demonstration agent. |
