Show - SOCIETY - 1 Thirty family members ' assem-! assem-! bled at the home of Mrs. Rhema Weight to celebrate Christmas eve.-The eve.-The house was beautifully deccr-med deccr-med for the occasion and in one corner a large fish pond was arranged ar-ranged from which the children and grown-ups fished their gifts.. lUater a delightful time was spent. with social chat, anil games followed by refreshments. Present , were Mr. and Mrs. II. M. Weight and family, Mr, and Mrs. Jim Rothwell and family, Mr. and Mrs. James "Wis-combe "Wis-combe and family, Mr. and Mrs. Lorenzo Weight and family. The. following day Mr. and Mrs. Harold Johnson and son came from ' Eu-, reka. Mr, and Mrs. Joseph Grant enter-, tained at cards and luncheon at their home Saturday evening for Mr. and Mrs. George Crandall and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Pennington. j The regular monthly meeting of the Spring ville Legion, auxiliary will be held Wednesday,. Jan. '7, at the homo of Mrs. Cleonda. Miner., with Mrs'.. Virgil Hafen , assisting hostess. Glenn , Woodmansec., will be the principal speaker together with a splendid program .arranged for the occasion. New members will.be initiated at this, meeting a,hd it is especially important ,that. all new as well as former members be' in attendance. . Child was elected president of the ! club tor next year; Donloe Kennedy 1 as -vice president-and Carlyle Cran- dull, iiecretary and treasurer. The I aim of the new offfices is a bigger and better holiday party next year. Complimentary to her .parents who are visiting here from Hazel- ! ton, Idaho, Mrs. Arthur Finley en-' tertained at a nicely arranged dinner din-ner at. hor home Monday evening. The Boosters' club of the high school held their annual Christmas party Friday evening at Keeleys, Provo.
