FIVE MEN ON SPORT BOARD New Athletic Board For Region Re-gion 3 Elected in Conclave; Simmons a Member The new region 3 board of managers, man-agers, t'ne five-man board which wll decide the athletic policies of the five-district region for the next year will take office December Decem-ber 1, it is announced today by K, E. Knudsen, Springvillc high schcol principal, retiring chuirman cil' the old beta i d. The new board was elected at a meeting Saturday night at Provo and represents Alpine, Al-pine, Provo, Nebo, Tint ic and Juab school districts. Tnose who will comprise the new board are as fellows; Glenn Simmons, Sim-mons, Provo high coach. Provo district; David Mitchell. Lehi principal. prin-cipal. Alpine; Melvin Wilson, Ne'luJ district superintendent, Nebo; Owen L. Harnett, superintendent id' the Juab district, Juab; and J. T. Wilson, Wil-son, Tintic prineijxil, Tint ic. Faculty members, principalis, board members, coaches and superintendents super-intendents were eligible for membership mem-bership en the board of managers, which was creat ed under a new slate ruling last year.
