Show 42-Year Records Broken In Balmy Spring Breeze Abnormally High Temperatures Reported From All Parts Of The Country; Los Angeles Swelters With Mercury Registering 89 Degrees Above s, CHICAGO, Feb. 19. (U.D The forerunners of spring, robins and warmer weather we at home in the middle and far west today. Weather records that have stood as long as 42 years broken. In the region from the Mississippi river valley to the Pacific coast, extending north almost to the in- ternational border, citizens went about their work in temperatures ranging from 49 to 89 degrees above zero.
