Show Anneal Stock Show Planned SPRINGVILLE LIVESTOCK TO BE EXHIBITED The second annual dairy utoolc show of Springville will be held Friday, February 2S, ;Vt the old Noble hin:. Fourth .South and Second East stieet, according to plans outlin 'd -n a meeting ct the Farm Bureau held Monday evening with Andiew V. Nelson in chaige. An invitation is extended to Ma--pleton dairvnicn risking them to join Springville and make this years show bigger and hotter than cf the previous year. All stock to be entered must be at the barns promptly at 10:30 o'clock and will iemam there until 4 p. m., acording to Secretary Fred Weight. Judges will be secured from the college, it is stated, and will he prepared to discuss the defects as well as the good points of the. stock. All dairymen and tho.se interested in-terested are asked to" cooperate with the Farm Bureau to make the show a success. Anson B. Call, assistant as-sistant county agricultural agent, attended the board meeting and assisted fin outlining projects and committees for the coming year. They are announced as follows: A. V. Nelson, George Peterson, appointed ap-pointed to outline a campaign against use of duiry substitutes; William Mower, taxes; llober Houtz, roads; Fred Weight. 4-K Junior club work; Earl Hutch-ings, Hutch-ings, weeds and pests; Glen Dal-lin, Dal-lin, J. O. Reynolds, city improvement improve-ment and beautif,ication; C. G. Salisbury, Sal-isbury, V. C. Mendenhall, Mrs. George Anderson, Mrs. Prudence Palfreyman, fair and flower show. |
