A delightful evening was spent Saturday when Mr. and Mrs. Dee Miner entertained a number of friends at their home. Progressive "500" was the outstanding feature of amusement, three tables for the game being arranged. Prizes dur-in" dur-in" the evening were awarded to Mrs Asa Clark. The ladies of the Home Culture club were pleasantly entertained Friday afternoon at the homo of Mrs B. M. Mendenhall. A well arranged ar-ranged program with President Mrs Harold Christcnscn in charge was given as follows: piano solo, Miss Beth Mendenhall; vocal solos, Miss Helen Fox. Miss Floss Harmor '; of the high school faculty gave an interesting talk on "Better American Amer-ican Speech." In conclusion a dainty lunch, carrying out at patriotic pa-triotic color scheme with red sweet peas adding to the general effect, was served to about fifteen members mem-bers and guests present.
