Show I Man Suffers Crushed Foot Thomas Gucrin, 20, of Springfield Spring-field Gardens, N. tT., Is in the Utah county jail suffering from a badly crushed foot, sustained early this morning at Thistle Junction, when it was caught in a coupling of a freight train on which he, with two companions, were beating their way. The local sheriff's office was notified of the accident and Deputy Sheriff Reuben L. Christeneen went to Thistle and brought the three men to Provo. Guerin's injuries in-juries were attended by Dr. Stanley Stan-ley M. Clark, county physician, who expresses the belief that no bones are broken, but that it will be several sev-eral weeks before the Injured man : will regain the use of his foot. : Guerin and two companions went from New York to California in a car. Without employment th( ir limited funds soon were exhauced and they proceeded to beat their way home. This morning a 'telegram 'tele-gram was sent to the injured youth's parents, asking for financial finan-cial aid. |
