Miner, son of Mrs. Mary Miner of this city, and Leona JCr-ma JCr-ma Damico of Provo were married Monday at the county court house. Frank Salisbury, county clerk, performed the ceremony. Mrs. Margaret Zabriskie entertained enter-tained the Ava Delma club at her home in Spanish Fork Thursday evening. A St. Patrick color scheme added to the nicely-arranged luncheon sevred early in the evening. eve-ning. Bridge was played with Mrs. Vera Zabriskie and Mrs. Carrie Tripp receiving prizes-. Others present were' Norma Noe, Birdie Thorpe, Evelyn Fry, Neva Kindred, Kind-red, Camille Taylor, Viola Smith, Helen Beardall, Pearl Smith1 and Gwen Cutler of Spanish Fork, the latter being a guest. Members of the Mothers' Study club will be guests of Mrs. Lloyd Bird at her home Friday afternoon. It is election day and all are urged to be present. A long table was i centered with a beautiful birthday cake with green candles. Other decorations dec-orations suggestive of St, Patrick's added to the delightful affair. Games and a nice lunch was served to a large crowd present. v A nicely arranged and enjoyable party vwas given by the Lincoln school teachers at the home of Miss Hannah Rowland Thursday evening. Assisting Miss Rowland were Rhea Straw,- Elizabeth Loynds and Sarah Hill. Progressive "Touring" furnished entertainment and the high score prize for the game was awarded to Miss Eleanor Matlev. Wells by President Milenda Sumsion,. together with a one-act play, a representation of the six past presidents of the ward organization, organ-ization, and a dramatiztion of woman's everyday duties, were outstanding features of the program. pro-gram. Lunch suggestive of St. Patrick's day was served. Mrs. Leo Lucus was hostess to the Busy Finger club at her home Thursday afternoon. Sewing and a lunch were enjoyed by Mrs. Marie Cranmer, Mrs. Marjorie Bird, Mrs. I Olive Porter, Mrs. LaVern Beardall, Bear-dall, .Mrs. Josephine Duncan, Mrs. Stella Straw, Mrs. Velma Roylance, Mrs. Feast, Mrs. Bunnell and Mrs. Fawn Holliday, the latter three being be-ing guests from Provo. Mrs. Pier Brinton entertained a number of friends at a bridge luncheon at her home Wednesday evening. During the games Mrs. Rose Roylance won high score favor and Mrs. Effie Hardy won second prize. A delightful time was enjoyed by all. For their little son Wallace Edward Ed-ward whose first birthday was Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bird gave a nicely arranged dinner. Guests included the great-grandmother and father Mr. and Mrs. John E. Bowen, the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed Williams of Spanish Span-ish Fork and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Bird, also - Mr. and Mrs. Louis White of Spanish Fork, Mr. and Mrs. Othell Bird, Beth, Elden and Jane B. Williams and Leon and George Bird. In observance of the ninetieth birthday anniversary of Relief society, the Second ward organization organiza-tion gave a social Thursday evening. eve-ning. Mrs. Ellen El-len K. Wheeler, only surviving officers of-ficers of the original ward organization, organi-zation, was presented with a beautiful beau-tiful bouquet of flowers during the program.
