Show Not Uncut, But Cutting Observes an eastern sociologist : "The self-made woman is a new type. Will this uncut diamond take on polish, or content herself with power and independence? . Not the slightest need to worry about the self-made woman .after she has got the power and independence. Upon acquiring things, woman always takes on the polish polish, or paint. It is the self-made man who remains unpolished. The self-made woman always polishes up her power and independence, first thing. Often, she puts on so thick a coat of polish that her male relations call it, "Lording it over all creation." To call a self-made woman, with power and independence, an "uncut diamond" is erroneous. Much better "a polished diamond cutter." ' ' |
