Show BASEBALL HAS FINEOUTLOOK With excellent prospects for the season of 1027. Springville is preparing pre-paring to enter the Central Utah baseball league. More than (K) enthusiastic fans met in a citizens' mass meeting recently, re-cently, and unanimously decided to enter the league, which proved so successful for Springville fans last season. Mayor G. H. Maycock presided pre-sided at the meeting. Coach Ike Young of Springville high school, manager of the league nine last season, outlined the pro-giam pro-giam for the year, nnd predicted that Springville would have the best team in its history in 1027. Organization Effected Officers for the eomim: season were elected as follows: President, .1. M. Nichols; vice president. M. . Packard; secretary-treasurer, W. N. (5 rooms: John K. Mendenhall and Lee Davis, directors. A third director will be selected from the city council, it is anuounc- ed Nichols was the unanimous choice for club president. Mendenhall.
