Show M'PHERSON'S EX-RADIO MAN SOUGHT AGAIN WASHINGTON' "An equal share with men in the making and administration ad-ministration of the laws of this country." That's what Ibe National Woman's Wo-man's Party wants. Mabel Vernon, its executive secretory, sec-retory, says so, and says it with nu emphasis that, if you're one of the henpecked sex, makes you shiver shiv-er a little. Some of the National Woman's Party's recent literature, as they hand it out mimeograpbically for public consumption, has been so darned resolute, to say the least, that finally I paid my respects and a lot of 'em nt party headquarters, opposite the capital, explained that I was in favor of giving women all the rights they wanted and ventured the hope that this would count in my favor if they started ntythlng. At this the membership laughed and told me they weren't going to start anything violent, but here's what they added : "Woman's struggle strug-gle for genuine equnllty is entering a phase which promises to be very exciting." Not so blamed reassuring, to my mind. I'm glad I did my best to square myself. |
