Show MAN HURT WHEN ALTO TURNS TURTLE Elmer St. Joer, Seventh East and Sixth North, was seriously injured Wednesday morning, about S o'clock, when the car in which he was riding turned turtle on the state highway near the county infirmary. in-firmary. St. Joer is employed at the signal station of the railroad and was on his way to work. He had driven his car off the pavement and in an effort to get back onto the highway he lost control of the steering wheel ' turning the car completely over and , throwing him to the pavement. Mr. St. Joer was picked up by a fellow workman at the signal station sta-tion and who was riding in a truck just in front of him. He was rushed to the Taylor hospital, where he received immediate medical treatment treat-ment by Dr. Fred W. Taylor and then was removed to his home. Tho ligaments of his arms were torn I and his shoulders badly bruised, but he is reported to be resting easily. |
