Show FUNERAL HELD IN SPRINGVILLE Many Persons Pay Last Tribute to Memory of H. E. Piper. Funeral services were held in the Springville Fourth ward chapel Monday, April 2S, at 1 p. m., for H. E. Piper, -age 52, who died of heart trouble at the hospital in Salt Lake City Saturday April 12. Bishop G. B. Maycoek was in charge. Three vocal solos made up the musical part of the service and were sung by Miss Helen, Palfrey-man, Palfrey-man, Frank Bjamson and M. B. Crandall, Jr. The speakers were Rev. W. H. Ensign En-sign of the Springville Presbyterian church, S. H. Comaby of Spanish Fork nnd Bishop G. R. Maycoek. The invocation was offered by M. E. Crandall. Jr. and the benediction by Alva Zabriskie of the ward bishopric. bish-opric. The chapel was crowded to its capacity by the ninny relatives nnd friends' among whom were a large number of railroad men. The floral offering was exceptionally large and beautiful. Interment was in the Springville city cemetery nnd the grave was dedicated by Bishop Maycoek. Mr. Piper is survived by his wife, Mrs. Maud Piper, his mother. Mrs. Margaret E. Piper of Springville and two brotrers. Harry Piper of Salt Lake City and Elmer riper of California. |
