W-Vickeis W-Vickeis who were visiting here from Chicago. FoTIowIng a weeks visit with Dr. :.nd Mrs. G. G. Neill, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Anderson and daughters, Maurine and Mary, went with the Neiils to Salt Lake Sunday where the day was pleasantly spent with lunch and other amusements at Liberty park. Mr. and Mrs. John S. Boyer entertained en-tertained one day of the past week for Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wall who were visiting here from Richfield, Members of the Social Twelve Card club will meet this evening at the home of Mrs. Arthur Fin-ley. Fin-ley. All members are asked to be present. Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Crandall, Jr., entertained at a delightful canyon outing at their summer home in Hobble Creek oanyon Sunday in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Cran-jdall Cran-jdall of Provo. The party was in celebration of the birth duy anniversary anni-versary of Mr. Crandall. A deli-idus deli-idus picnic luncheon was enjoyed by the following friends and rela- tives present, Mr. and Mrs. M. E. Crandall, Mrs. Irma Gudmundson cf this city. Mr. und Mrs, Edward Carlyle of Salt Lake, Mr. and Mis. Dan Webster and Mr. and Mrs. Paul G. Crandall of Provo. Nearly 70 people were in attendance attend-ance at the annual outing of the Springville Community church held Tuesday afternoon and evening eve-ning at Geneva, under the direction direc-tion of Rev. Harold L. Wilson. At 2 o'clock a caravan of cars left the church. Upon arriving at the resort, most of the young people enjoyed a swim. Later a ball game between the boys and men was enjoyed, en-joyed, the boys winning. After the games, various contests for all ages were held and many prizes awarded. A picnic lunch was served in the early evening followed fol-lowed by an impromptu piny under , the direction of Miss Elizabeth Grllilan. Each summer the members of the Springville Kiwanin club spend one evening at the fish hatchery. The affair thi syear will be held next Thursday evening. Luncheon will be served at tables on the i lawn, followed by a short program and genedal sociability. "Elackie" Huish will act an master of ceremonies. cere-monies.
