Show IMANY ATTEND SERVICES FOR HAZEL MINER Impressive funeral services for Mrs. Hadel F.inks Miner. 30, wife of Lafe Miner, who died at the family residence Friday, were held Sunday aflernoon in the Second Ward chnpol. P.ishop William Wainwright was in charge. The speakers, each of whom paid high tribute to the character of Mrs- Miner, were Finest Strong and Selvoy 3oyor of the Second ward. Musical ST-lections were ful-nished ful-nished by the high school quarlet, Rulan Crandall sang a solo, Mr. and Mrs. (iuy Ihown rendered a vocal duet and Miss Helen Pal-freyman Pal-freyman also sang a solo. Mrs. Miner is the mother of Kenneth Ken-neth and Clyde Miner, v.'ho, with Garth Singleton, another Springville Spring-ville youth, were marooned on a raft on Utah lake for more than four hours last week, and who were rescued by Provo police officers offi-cers following a lengthy search in the storm. She was horn in Springville, October Oc-tober 4, 1!, the daughter of Thomas and Anna Bramel Hinks. She was a failhiul member of the L. D. S. church, ami had always taken an active part in the affairs of her ward, f'.he had held a number num-ber of offices in the auxiliary or-ganizat or-ganizat inn. In addition to her husband she is survived by four suns and one daughter, Don, 1(1; Plane, 1; Kenneth, Ken-neth, 12; Clyde, In; Clara, 7. She also leaves her parents and the following fol-lowing brothers and sisters; T. W., Frank and Charles Pinks, Springville; Spring-ville; John Einks, Salt Lake; Mrs. Mae Binks and Mrs. Emma Rowland, Row-land, Springville. |
