Show SOCIETY Mrs. Ida Hoffman of this city-was city-was guest at the social for members mem-bers of the Valley Circle club given by Miss Florence Ray at her home in Provo Friday evening. Howard Hatfield, son of Jacob Hatfield of this city and Miss Agnes Ag-nes Neman of Eureka were married mar-ried Thursday at the county court house. An especially enjoyable canyon party was given Friday evening by members of the Saturday veiling Bridge club at the Hansen cottage in Kelley's Grove. Cards furnished pleasant entertainment followed by a tasty luncheon. Those included in the party were Mr. and Mrs. H. T. Reynolds, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. F,. E. Knudsen, Dr. and Mrs. G. G. ''I" 1 . ; Complimentary to Mrs. Clara Ar-nitt, Ar-nitt, formerly Miss Clara Jensen of Mapleton, a miscellaneous shower was given by Mrs. Morris Dallin and Miss Marrie Jensen at the home of the latter Monday evening. A variety of summer flowers added add-ed to the attractiveness of the entertaining en-tertaining rooms. A program of interesting games and music was enjoyed during the evening followed fol-lowed by a delicious luncheon. More than 30 relatives and close friends from Mapleton and Springville Spring-ville were in attendance. Many beautiful and useful gifts were received re-ceived by the honor guest. A burfct supper wo a served Sunday Sun-day evening by Mrs. G. S. Wood for a number of friends including Mr. and Mrs. James Snedley and Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Winters who were visiting here from Bountiful. , during which light refreshments were served. Mend fln hail performed per-formed the ceremony. The entire home was decorated wilh a profusion profu-sion of van-colored sweet peas for the occasion. The bride wore a prelfy gown of pink and white georgette. Miss Marie Jensen was maid of honor and Harold Whiting best man.
