Show DELIGHTFUL LAKE PARTY BYSTUDENTS "Y" Summer School Faculty and Students Frolic and Play at Utah Lake A gorgeous sunset was but one of the delights that greeted the sum-, mer school students of the Young univornity upon their arrival at the edge of Utah Lake Tuesday evening. The water, delightfully warm under a threatening sky, and the dance of the rain upon the waves farther out added much to the charm of the evening. eve-ning. Between seventy-five and a hundred hun-dred students made the trip. The first number on . the program was a plunge Into the waters of the lake. This was followed by baseball, three full sets going at once, which was in turn followed by a camp fire and weinnies. After the "eats" the youngsters betook themselves to various games. Dr. Phillips, with his toasted bacon qualified as a first class cook and Dr. Gray placed himself in the hall of fame as a second baseman of rare ability. ' ( The return was made shortly after nine o'clock. The rain which had threatened all -evening held off find allowed the merry-makers to return unmolested. ' ' I The recreational department plans two other things for 'this week; a matinee dance Wednesday afternoon from 5 :30 to 6, and a -trip io the Hot Pots Friday. |
