Show FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY FOR MRSJACKSON Funeral services for Mary Ellen Jackson who died at her home In Mapleton last week, were held in Ihe Mapleton ward chniicl Sunday afternoon with Richard Bird of the ward bishopric in charge. The -oiiening sung. "Come Unto Jesus," was sung by the ward choir The Invocation was by Oscar Whiting. Whit-ing. As a second number the choir -iing "Hosting Now From the Cares and Sorrows." The speakers- were John II. Lee, Bishop It. L. Mendenhnll, and former for-mer Bishop William P. Tew, all of Mapleton. Leslie Houtz sang "Maud in Hand." Mrs. Ernest Whiting played the accompaniments. As a closing number the choir sang "Hosting "Host-ing in the Arms of Jesus." The benediction wns by John Ilollcy. Interment In-terment was ill the Evergreen cemetery ceme-tery under the direction of the Claudin Funeral Home. The dedicatory dedi-catory prayer was by 10. M. Snow. |
