Former resident dies in Ogden Funeral services were held in Ogden Saturday, for Mrs. Emily Brinton Carr, 80, a native na-tive of Springville, who died Thursday, March 7, in an Ogden Og-den hospital, of injuries suffered suf-fered in a fall earlier in the week, at her home in Ogden. Born in Springville, Aug. 17, 1882, she was a daughter of Evan Piersol and Harriet Chase Brinton. Her husband, Frank H. Carr, to whom she was married in Springville, passed away in 1933. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Pres-byterian Church. Surviving are a son, Calvin B. Carr, Salt Lake City; and a daughter, Elizabeth H. Goff, Ogden; sisters: Mrs. Bessie B. Bailey and Mrs. Jane Crawford, Craw-ford, Ogden. A.E.C. to continue broad role in research. Economic solidarity in the west is advocated. |
