Each of the presidents will be given a book with compliments of the JC Wives as special project I s i . ! r f .mm , . , ' , " ,"' ' f ; - i GRADUATES Second lieutenants, Lynn Boyer, left, and John Mendenhall, National Guard members, are recent grad-uates of Utali State Officers Candidate School held at Camp Williams. Boyer has just returned from a nine-wee-k basic officers school at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, and has enrolled in his junior year at Brigham Young University. Mendenhall transferred from the local Guard Unit to a medical unit in Salt Lake City. He is attending medical school at the U. of U. Lt. Boyer's parents are Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Boyer, Springville, and Lt. Mendenhall is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Cornell Mendenhall of Las Vegas, Nevada, formerly of here. At a later meeting of the group at the home of Presi-dent Toni Smith, the Women's organization officer list and address book was .completed under the direction of Chair-man Evalyn Fletcher and Lois Barney. The book contains a list of the presidents of all federated women's clubs, auxiliary or-ganizations, PTA presidents and the presidents of the Re-lief Society organizations in Springville and Kolob Stakes. It also lists city officials, the chamber of Commerce presi-dent, chairman of the Com-munity Development Council, the Senior Citizens director and other worthwhile informa-tion. JC Wives hear case worker, finish books John Christianson, case worker from the Ogden Train-ing School, discused problems of rehabilitation of .children at the school, at the September dinner meeting of the Spring-ville JC Wives, Wednesday, at Barts. He was accompanied by Mrs. Christianson. Other special guests included Paula Jones, a past president; also Sherrie Wheeler, Glenna Oldroyd and Ann Robertson, a new member and Signa Rob-ertson, Orem JC Wives pres. During the business session, plans were made for the group to go to the Training School at American Fork, Saturday, Sept. 28, to decide what could be purchased for a girl's cot-tage at the school.
