Game and range management sets meetings Utah's game and range managers will meet in several communities throughout the State next week to evaluate game-rang- e conditions for each big game herd unit. Known as the Interagency Committee, this fact finding body was set up by the Utah Board of Big Game Control several years ago. Members include management and field personnel of the Department of Fish and Game, Forest Ser-vice and Bureau of Land Man-agement. In each of the meetings lo-cal members of the three agencies study and discuss information covering big game herds and ranges in that dis-trict as it has been gathered during the preceding year. Recommendations for the fall hunting seasons for each hunt-ing unit are then formulated. During the Board's five pub-lic meetings, set this year for June 22, 24, 25, 26, 27 and 28, recommendations by the, Inter-agency Committee for hunts on each of the State's big game herd units are read and the reasons for them ex-plained.
