Show Mothers guests of Pari Passu Club A dinner and program were highlights of the Mother's Day entertainment sponsored by the Pari Passu clubs at Barts. Hostesses for the evening eve-ning were Dorothy Hazel and Vera Zobell. President Louise Springer welcomed the group and grace ,at the dinner was offered by Evelyn Wolsey. A toast to mothers was given giv-en by Maryn Johnson with a response from her mother, Mrs. Mary Smart. Mary Ann Lawrence gave two stories and a quartet composed of Nancy Zobell, 1 Carolyn Crandall, Jan-ie Jan-ie Snelson, Cheryl Marshall, gave two vocal numbers, accompanied ac-companied by Carolee Eber-hardt. Eber-hardt. Lovely favors were presented present-ed to each guest who included: Rena Roylance, Ardella Creer, L o w e e n Palf reyman, Mrs. Wayne Ostlund, Bountiful; Al-emeda Al-emeda Ellsworth, Payson; Mary Smart, Grace Baker, Mary Wolsey of Provo; Edith Wheeler, Mary Ann Lawrence. Next regular meeting of the club is being held tonight, May 16, at 8 p.m., at the home of Arlena Lofgran in the form of a social. As of June 30, 1962, federal assets in real and personal property were valued at $299.4 billion. The national debt on the same date was $298.2 billion. |
