Show Msdicel officer course finished by Cspt. Ilayinond Army Capt. David R. Hay-mond, Hay-mond, 26, whose parents, Mr. and Mrs. Paul M. Haymond, live at 228 E. E,i ght h S. Springville, recently completed the six-week medical officer orientation course at the Medical Med-ical Field Service School, Erooke Army Medical Center, Fort Sam Houston, Tex. Instruction in the course emphasized em-phasized combat medical procedures pro-cedures and included such subjects sub-jects as emergency surgical techniques, care of combat exhaustion, ex-haustion, care for mass casualties cas-ualties from nuclear explosions and the logistical requirements of field medical service. Capt. Haymond is a 1954 graduate of Springville High School and received his B. S. degree from BYU in Provo in : 1958 and his M. D. degree from the University 0f Utah in Salt Lake City, in 1961. He is a member of Phi Rho Sigma fraternity. Once upon a time, and not more than that, a son asked for the garage keys and came ; out with the lawn mower. |
