Show Local horses place in show "Pucah's Pride," yearling filly belonging to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Palfreyman, took first in the Appaloosa division in the Silver Spurs All-breed fashion show in Salt Lake City last Saturday. They were presented pre-sented with a ribbon and trophy for the win. Their other ' entry in the show, "Timbers Spitfire" took third in the stallion class and received a ribbon. Mr. and Mrs. Bryce Anderson Ander-son of Mapleton, who were with the Palfreymans and exhibiting ex-hibiting a stallion, "Piegan Pemigan," took second with their entry in the 2-year-old stallion class. President Kennedy gets $100,000 a year, quadrupling what George Washington got (but what a difference in take-home) . . . The only President Pres-ident who didn't "use the personal per-sonal pronoun "I" in his inaugural in-augural speech was Theodore Roosevelt ... William Henry Hen-ry Harrison employed 8,445 words at his inaugural, almost twice as many as any other Chief Executive. Delivered them during a snowfall, too . . |
