Show School board airs problems facing schools What parents and the public pub-lic want in education, was discussed dis-cussed from several angles at a meeting at the Junior high school Wednesday of last week, called by Supt. Russell Stans-field Stans-field of Nebo school district and members of the Board of Education. It was the first of three meetings planned by the board for Springville, Spanish Fork and Payson. Attending the discussion at which a large number had an opportunity to express individual individ-ual views on various phases of the subject was a cross section sec-tion of citizens comprising business bu-siness men, church leaders, educators, civic leaders and parents. A majority of those offering offer-ing suggestions favored an increased in-creased period day and a wider curriculum in the schools.
