I have not lived in Spring-ville for six years but visit here quite often. I sincerely agree with Mrs. Robertson and know that other people do too. I too, have had dogs and my children have a dog. I never have to worry about them outside when I see the dog. I know that the children aren't far away. Of course, there are bad dogs just as there are bad hu-mans. We aren't making the human race extinct because of a few bad ones. Then why do the same with dogs. I believe they have their place "in the world just as everything does. I was astonished to hear of using a hypodermic needle. It shows a lack of courage on the part of the dog catcher and anyone else who partici-pated in it. I would certainly think twice about bringing my dog there and I am sure that other visit-ors to Springville have had the same thought. Why destroy one of the best playmates our children can have ? Mr. Law was gone in all about "three months accom-panying his son back after he and his wife had visited here and at various other places in the U.S. Mrs. Law1 accompanied her daughter-in-la- w down la- - ter and has been gone about six weeks. The last two weeks, Mr. and Mrs. Law spent with another son Dale Law and wife and baby at Hollywood, Calif. They commented that most of the people are grateful to have an opportun-ity to earn a few American dollars. They will work ten hours a day for at least six and a half days for approxi-mately $10 and it is not un-common to see a workman in ragged clothing with no shoes. Tropical fruits grow in abun-dance and the weather at the all tile. The Laws have a night-watchm-on duty always at their residence. Returning home, Mr. and Mrs. Law accompanied How-ard down to Panama for a trip and left from there by jet for Hollywood. Howard left Pan-ama on a business trip to Chi-cago and New oYrk. time they were there, was most delightful. During part of the time, Mr. Law assisted with finishing his son's new home, which looks over a big expanse of territory. It is a spacious structure 100 feet long and 30 feet wide sur-rounded with a high lighted fence. In Mr. Law's work, he and his wife entertain consid-erable having as many as forty people at one time.
