Show Kolob Stake readies road shows for presentation next week Next Monday and Tuesday evenings June 25 and 26, are the dates scheduled for Kolob Stake's annual Road Shows, beginning be-ginning at 7:30 p.m., at the Stake House, announces Rhea Williams, stake drama director. direc-tor. Most of the shows will be themed to the subject of "Our Town," and have been written by a member of the ward, supplemented sup-plemented in most cases by special music and dance numbers. num-bers. They will be judged or rated good, excellent or superior. The first night shows (Monday) (Mon-day) will be by the Eleventh, Twelfth and Mapleton wards and the second night, Mapleton Second, Sixth, Second and First wards will perform. The Eleventh ward will give "Holidays on Parade," written by Dale and Glenda Osborn, directed by Shana Ashby with music by Nadine Williams; Twelfth ward, "Our Town," written by Ina Bird, with Af-ton Af-ton Petroff and Janet Bird, drama, and Jim Olsen in charge of music and Mary Brown, dances. The Mapleton ward will give "Our Town," written by Mau-rine Mau-rine Hiatt with Genevieve Whiting directing, .assisted by Leland Oakley and Linda Bleg-gi; Bleg-gi; Frankie Shipley is in charge of the dances and Jer- ry Davies, music. Tuesday evening, the Mapleton Maple-ton Second ward will give "Our Town," written by Phyllis Phyl-lis Mendenhall and directed by Ray Bennett with Phyllis Mendenhall Men-denhall assisting1. Marilyn Tut-tle Tut-tle is in charge of dancing and Julie Seal, piano. The Sixth ward will give, "Views of Our Town," written and directed by Marshall Craig with his . daughter Martha Craig in charge of. dances. The Second ward will give, "Clean-up Day Capers," written writ-ten by Ronald Van Leuvan, Carol Reid and Mamie Black-ett, Black-ett, directed by Kaaren Cook, assisted by Sandra Carter.
