Ruff, named president presi-dent of the Utah Firemen Springville man heads state firemen group Three Springville men were singularly nonorea ac me sLaue firemen's convention in Vernal the past weekend, announces Chief Reed Averett. Wm. G. Ruff was named president of the State Firemen Association, John R. Kindred, a member of the state association asso-ciation for the past 50 years was presented with a diamond-studded diamond-studded pin. He was one of five in the state thus honored, and Alma Fullmer and Reed Rigtrup received a 25-year pin. Springville lost to Price in close voting for the convention next year. Attending the meet from Springville, were: Mr. and Mrs. Art Child, Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Bird, Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Johnson, Mr. and Mrs. Alma Fullmer, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. G. Ruff, Chief and Mrs. Reed Averett and Mr. Kindred. |
