Mr. Packard reported gaining gain-ing considerable information on ways and means to improve the banking operations with which he is asosciated. Banker returns from eastern business trip F. C. Packard, Springville Banking Company president, returned recently from a business busi-ness trip in the East. Accompanied Accom-panied by Mrs. Packard, they were gone two weeks, traveling travel-ing both ways by plane. As a member of the executive execu-tive committee of the American Ameri-can Bankers Assn., Mr. Packard Pack-ard attended a meeting of the association at White Sulphur Springs, West. Va., following business in New York, and a tour of Richmond, Jamestown and Williamsburg, Va. As a member of the National Legislative Council of the Independent In-dependent Bakers Assn., of the 12th Reserve District of which he has served as president, he attended a meeting of representatives repre-sentatives of the seven western west-ern states, Alaska and Hawaii.
