Show Open House set Sunday for former resident Dr. Hazel Anderson Lowen-stein Lowen-stein of Terre Haute, Ind. will be honored with an open house given by her mother, Mrs. G. A. Anderson at her home, 145 West 200 South Sunday afternoon, after-noon, beginning at 3:00 p.m. Mrs. Anderson will be assisted by another daughter Mrs. Mildred Mil-dred A. Newman of this city and her two daughters Laura-nelle Laura-nelle and Sharonlee. Dr. Lowenstein received her Ph. D. from Indiana University Universi-ty with majors in guidance and general education and a minor in psychiatric social work. The title of the doctoral dissertation dis-sertation was, "A cooperative coopera-tive Study of Leadership Training Train-ing Criteria and the Leadership Leader-ship Training programs of the Church of Latter-day Saints." Dr. Lowenstein is a former member of the faculty of In- diana State College, Terre Haute." She and her hulsband, Dr. Werner Lowenstein, who received re-ceived his M. D. degree from the University of Berlin, have three children, Ruth, Miriam and Paul. During their stay in Springville, Spring-ville, they have been extensively extensiv-ely entertained by relatives and friends here and out-of-town. A number of friends have also been entertained at the Anderson Ander-son home where Hazel has showed her colored slides of the family trip taken last last summer through France Italy and Isreal. |
