Reid in Salt Lake City and returned home Wednesday. Douglas is working work-ing in Bountiful and staying with Mrs. Reid. During their stay they were extensively entertained en-tertained by her sisters, Mrs. Fred Demmar Jr., and Mrs. Jerry Jentzsch. She also enjoyed en-joyed a visit with two Aunts, Mrs. Ralph Dyett of Logan is spending several days visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Burton Bur-ton Warren, before moving to Las Vegas where her husband will teach this coming school year. Recent visitors at the home , of Mr. and Mrs. John Perry and with Mrs. Martha Houtz have been Mr. and Mrs. Bill Parry and children of Layton. Bill has been sustained as second sec-ond counselor in the bishopric of his ward. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas M. Bert left Monday for California to purchase a home and his family will leave later when he has completed arrangements. He will teach in High School in Califoi-nia this winter. His wife and children are spending several days visiting visit-ing with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. I. Tippetts in Spring-ville. Spring-ville. A family dinner was given at the Gividen home Sunday honoring hon-oring Bert and his mother whose birthdays occurred during dur-ing the week. Bert has been attending Summer Sum-mer school at Corvalis, Oregon, working on his Doctor's degree. - While in Oregon the Gividens enjoyed some salmon fishing and spent two days picking the native black berries which are so abundant at this time of year.
