Nelson whose farewell fare-well is Sunday night goes to the French LDS mission next month Farewell set Sunday for Garth L Nelson A missionary farewell program pro-gram will be held in the Third ward Sunday evening, ' for Garth L. Nelson, son of Mrs Louise K. Nelson, who has accepted a call to serve in the French LDS mission. The farewell will begin at 5 p.m. and all relatives and friends are invited. Elder Nelson will enter the Mission Home, January 8. Speakers at the farewell will include Principal Paul K. Walker Wal-ker of the high school with re marks scheduled by Blane R Kimball, by Bishop F. Calvin Packard and by the mother and brother of the missionary The departing missionary will respond. Music for the evening will be given by Wayne S. Nelson accompanied by Carl Johnson A male quartet will give a number and the ward chior will give the opening selection and prelude and postlude music mus-ic will be by Carl Johnson. The invocation will be by Greg K. Nelson and the benediction bene-diction by Lynn Hales.
