Show Friends hold reunion here Forty six long time friends joined the "Tried and True", annual summer party for an afternoon of visiting Thursday of last week, at the Maple Valley Val-ley Inn. The committee in charge of arrangements included Mrs. Jennie Sanford, Mrs. Beulah Whiting and Mrs. Zina Condie, with Mrs. Sanford welcoming the ladies to the noon luncheon. A dramatic reading given by Mrs. Jessie J. Dalton entertained enter-tained the group and comprised the program. Mrs. Lela P. Gal-braith, Gal-braith, Mrs. Ora R. Laraway and Mrs. Midge C. Tuckfield all of Salt Lake City were named the committee for the party next summer. A special guest of the afternoon after-noon was Ida C. Taylor, Salt Lake City, an early school teacher, who has noted her 88th birthday and ' had taught a number of the ladies present.. Others attending from out of town, besides those mentioned were: Eliza T. Bringhurst, Samantha T. - Finch, Maude T. Erdmann, Hilda A. Stevenson, Lela A. Thomas,. Edith Richardson, Rich-ardson, Vera Haymond, Mabel A. Robinson, Mariam Menden-hall, Menden-hall, Suzie Winward, Nell Starr Beatrice W. Evans, Carol Bird, of Salt Lake City; LaPreal Hatch, Logan; Dora 'Coffman, Louise C. Peterson of Ogden; Alta S. Thomas, Alice Reynolds, Reyn-olds, Rea Tackett, Provo. Mrs Sheldon Nielson and son Carl spent three days this week with relatives and friends in Morgan. Daughter Karma is visiting with friends and relatives rel-atives in Fayette. |
