I m-'..sS Hlfilfrr trim and matching accessories A reception at the Stake House followed the wedding rites with guests received by parents of the bride and Dr. and Mrs. Weldon Taylor of Provo, brother and sister-in-law of the groom, and members mem-bers of the wedding party. The bride was exquisitely gowned in white velvet, lovely in its simplicity1 with an em-, pire bodice enhanced by a fur-trimmed fur-trimmed neckline and three-quarter three-quarter fur-trimmed sleeves. Tiny velvet buttons and pleats trimmed the back of the full Mr. & Mrs. Kobcrt V. Taylor who honeymooned in eastern , states following mid-March wedding rites. She was the former Miss Charmian Long of Springville. - ' I Miss Charmian Long takes vows with R. W.Taylor of Air Force t Home from a wedding trip to Washington D. C. and New York, where she saw her husband hus-band off to continue his air-force air-force duties in Newfoundland, is Mrs. Robert W. Taylor, the former Miss Charmian Long. The couple exchanged marriage mar-riage vows March 16, in ceremonies cere-monies at the Springville Stake House. Bishop Wm. J. Pratt officiated and Mrs. B. E. Old-royd Old-royd played the wedding march. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Long of Springville and the groom's parents are the late Mr. and Mrs. William W. Taylor of Lakeview. Charmian returned to Utah by plane continuing her work this week in Provo, while she awaits word -to join her husband. hus-band. For her going away attire, she chose an Italian design gray flannel suit with red fox skirt which swept into a train. A tiara of rhinestones released re-leased her veil of bridal tulle and she' carried a white fur muff on which was a beautiful rhinestone pin holding a bouquet bou-quet of pink tea roses and lil-ies-of-the-valley. In ice blue velvet sheaths with empire bodice, were the brides attendants, Mrs. Leonard Leon-ard D. Johnson, a sister, v matron ma-tron of honor; Miss Conda Weight, maid of honor, Mrs. Arthur Harding, bridesmaid. Petite Diane' and Kathy Johnson, nieces of the bride, were flower girls, attired in ice blue satin frocks. The attendants at-tendants and flower girls carried car-ried white fur muffs with rhinestone pins holding bouquets bou-quets of pink tea roses . and lily of the valley. For the reception Mrs. Long chose a dusty rose lace gown with empire bodice and Mrs. Taylor a natural , linen. Their corsages were pink roses and white gardenias. Assisting at the reception were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Kunze of Salt Lake City and Mrs. Paul Taylor, Lakeview. Mrs. Grant Swenson, Mrs. Shirley Wilson, Spanish Fork; Mrs. Hugh McClellan, Provo, and Lois Kunze, Salt Lake City were in the gift room. Gift bearers were Mark Johnson, Bryce, and Jill Taylor.. , Claudia and Susan Holdaway and Janet Taylor, nieces of the groom and Karen McClellan wore dainty white and ice blue nylon aprons and pink rose corsages while assisting Wil-ma Wil-ma Diamond and Utahna Greenhalgh with the serving. Mrs. Wm. Nielson was at the guest book. Several parties honored the bride before her wedding being be-ing given by Miss Conda Weight, Mrs. William Nielsen and Mrs. Leonard D. Johnson. |
