Interesting programs and refreshments re-freshments have been arranged. arrang-ed. Lois Bartholomew 'will be in charge of the Mapleton ward and Helen Wiscombe of the Mapleton Second ward. Laura Bennett will introduce the program pro-gram in the Second ward. Opening dates are Tuesday, Sept. 27 at ten o'clock and Wednesday, Sept. 28 at ten. Members of the Mapleton ward are asked to bring a ball of carpet rags which will be used for the fall bazaar. Dennis Baker, who has spent the past two weeks visiting at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jim Whiting, returned re-turned to his home in Compton, Calif., Monday. While here he enjoyed a fishing trip to Strawberry Straw-berry and was a Sunday dinner din-ner guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Howard Whiting. He also visited with relatives in Ogden. Mr. and Mrs. Dean Perkins and family attended the Frederick Fred-erick Coombs family reunion held in Roy, Utah last Sunday. Over one hundred relatives and descendents of the pioneer family were in attendance where family meals were served serv-ed and fine programs and games enjoyed. ; Mr. Vard Hurst and daughter daugh-ter Janet and son Denny of Ogden visited at the S. Lavell Bird home during the past week and with the Waldon Hursts. Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Glade Binks and two girls of Springville spent Sunday in Bountiful where they visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Blair Binks and family. Young Patty , Murdock went with them. There's a new baby girl at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Hurst born at the Utah Valley Hospital on Tuesday of last week. This makes four daughters daugh-ters for the Hursts. , |
