Show Fashion, Food Authorities Feature Of Relief Society Stake April Fair Two well-known celebreties will be in attendance at-tendance at the Springville Stake Relief Society April Fair next Thursday April 16, at 2 p.m., in the Third-Ninth ward, when Margaret Masters of Salt Lake will give demonstrations and Miss Frances Frost, American Dairy Association of Utah representative, rep-resentative, will lead the Fashion Fa-shion Revue. In addition to a revue of clothing items made by members, mem-bers, there will be a special quilt display by the ward organizations or-ganizations and by members in which prizes will be offered. There will also be a display of handicrafts and handiwork from each of the wards in the stake. According to rules governing the displays, a member can enter en-ter but one article which must have been finished in 1958 or 1959. Three types of quilts will be displayed pieced, appliqued and quilted comforters. There will be a special table for displaying of work done by members over 75 years. In the dress revue and article ar-ticle display all items are to be the work of members. Clara Sumsion, stake president, presi-dent, is general chairman of the Fair assisted by Helen Rob-bins Rob-bins and Jessie Condie, ward committee chairmen; Minnie Groesbeck and Arvilla Robbins, display for members over 75 years; Helen Crandall, Donetta Anthon, quilts; Reva Roylance, Aleene Clyde, Julia Sumsion, dress revue; Lucille Smart, Maurine Childs, refreshments. |
