Show Fire Department Answers to Two Accidents The Fire Department responded re-sponded to a call Monday to the home at 390 North Second East, owned by Mrs. Floss Cates, when gas in the basement base-ment exploded resulting in severe se-vere burns to Wayne Henderson, Hender-son, who was moving into the home from Provo. There was no fire but plaster was knocked knock-ed from a kitchen wall. Henderson sustained painful burns to his face, chest and left arm and was taken to the Utah Valley Hospital where he was still confined Wednesday. The fire department also rendered standby service Sunday Sun-day when the car driven by E. V. Crandall was' struck by an oil-tank truck when he drove onto the new highway from the old road on South Main. |
