SllTn- An exhibition of work done the past summer sum-mer by some twenty 4-H Clubs of Springville and Mapleton will be held in the Second-Eighth ward church b riday, announces announ-ces Mrs. W. H. Greenhalgh, supervisor. su-pervisor. All leaders are to have their exhibits in place by 8 a.m. The exhibits are to be judged judg-ed during the forenoon by judges from out-of-town and then opened to the public at 1 o'clock. Beginning at 2 p.m., there will be a program featuring a dress revue and the presentation presenta-tion of awards with Mrs. Emily Tyler of Provo, Utah County Home Demonstration Agent, in charge. From the individual and group exhibits which will represent rep-resent the work of over 150 young 4-H members, entries will be selected to go to the county 4-H exhibit to be held August 28. At the county exhibit, ex-hibit, blue, red and white ribbons rib-bons will be given and entries will be selected for the State Fair. Assisting Mrs-. Greenhalgh. with arrangements for the Community Exhibit here Friday Fri-day are the various 4-H leaders lead-ers from Springville and Maple-ton Maple-ton including, Marie Mason, Carma Van Orden.Eileen Memory, Mem-ory, Hazel Clyde, LaRhea Twelves, Twel-ves, Shirley Thorn, Jean Smith, Dorothy Damico, Norma Gus-tnvsnn Gus-tnvsnn Fllsie Greenhalerh. Lois Miller, Patsy Flygare, Nortica Barker, Catherine Ann Jensen, Helen Whitney, Marjorie Warren, War-ren, Mary Ellen Edmunds, Colleen Col-leen Jacobsen, Merle Best and Joyce Whiting. There are also a number of 4-H girls presently working as Junior leaders who are assisting assist-ing with the project. An invitation is extended to parents and friends of the girls to see the exhibits and attend the awards program. |
