Show their six children; from Orem Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Laird (Jane) and their two children and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jensen jand family and Mr. and Mrs. Duane Jensen and family of Mapleton. was enjoyed at the home of Mrs. Inez Harmer Thursday afternoon af-ternoon of last week. Christmas Christ-mas carols were sung and the lesson was given by Martha Whiting and a story was given giv-en by Olive Whiting. A tasty lunch was served by Alice Johnson, Bessie Thorn, Ardilla Perry, Sadie Whiting, Olive Whiting and Inez Harmer to twenty guests. Christmas dinner guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Wil-lis Harmer were Mr. and Mrs. Reed Clegg and family and Mr. and Mrs. Mel Harwood and family of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Ennis Woffinden of Benjamin. A supper party and square dancing were featured by a group of young couples last week in Memorial Hall. Special guests of the evening were Mr. and Mrs. George Wilson of Springville who helped with the calling. Planning the party were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson John-son and Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Williams. Other guests present were the following men and their wives: Norman Barker, Glen Martin, Bob Jacobson, Bill Jones, Dewey Nelson, Harold Har-old Barker, John Spencer, Lyle Paulson and Dean Binks. The home of Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Paulson was the scene of a neighborhood party last Saturday Sat-urday night. Games and a pot luck supper were enjoyed by Mr. and Mrs. Harold Gividen, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Booth, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Barker, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson and Mr. and Mrs. Burton Warren. Miss Wanda Holley of Salt Sake City spent the holidays at home. Also home for the holidays were Mr. and Mrs. Barry Carlson and baby of American Fork who visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Snow. A family dinner was enjoyed enjoy-ed at the home of Mrs. Lilly Hopla on Christmas day. Coming Com-ing from Ogden were a daughter daugh-ter and son-in-law and new baby Mr. and Mrs. Jay Dur- rant of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Casper and daughter Linda Lin-da of Salt Lake City and Mr. and Mrs. Darcy Dove of Prove Pro-ve Mr. and Mrs. Frank Jensen were fortunate enough to have all of their children and grandchildren grand-children hame for Christmas. They spent Christmas eve with them and all stayed over night and had family dinner together Christmas Day. ('They visited at the home of their son Charles and his family fam-ily who live in San Diego and were especially happy to get acquainted with his new baby - pon Charles. They also were J guests at the home of their 6on-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Black who -1 live in National City. The J Blacks have a new baby girl named Nancy. Also enjoying an extended "1 visit to California are Mr. and Mrs. Sylvester Allan and their family who are visiting at the H ghome of their daughter Beverly Bever-ly and her family. Beverly is now Mrs. J. R. Malheiro and makes her home in Covina. Welburn (Reck) Johnson tfho has been attending the University of Wisconsin at Madison, during the past year .s home for the holidays. He is majoring in economic geography geo-graphy and will do research it the University of Utah Avhile he is visiting here with lus parents, Mr. and Mrs. El- ilmer Johnson. He also plans to I 1 bo research work this summer J tor his University. Mr. and Mrs. Frank C. Ro-oertson Ro-oertson are spending two weeks, including the holidays, Ji California.
