Binls I j Phone HUnter 9-5875 I Hawaii is in the Temperel Army Hospital for treatment of a broken wrist and severed tendons in three fingers which he suffered while in a truck on his way to play basketball. A broken fan belt and shirred pin on the truck were thrust through the floor of the vehicle striking Morris on the hand and wrist. He is reported as improving. He is the son of Mayor and Mrs. Welby S. Warren. War-ren. There is a new baby girl at the home of Collette and Glade Binks born October 30 at the Utah Valley Hospital. The new baby has one sister, Christine. Maternal grand parents are Mr. and Mrs. Bert Palfreyman of Springville and paternal grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Norris T. Binks of Mapleton. Mr. and Mrs. Shirlin Nott and baby son of Bountiful were Sunday visitors with Mrs. Zina Dibble. Shirlin spent the day hunting with his brother-in-law Verl Slater. Mrs. Nott is the former Dorothy Dibble. country. Paul Dibble, who is stationed in Hawaii phoned to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Fay Dibble. He reported that he had seen Morris Warren who is in a hospital there with a broken bro-ken wrist. Boyd Halverson, son of Mr and Mrs. Merill Halverson, also stationed in Hawaii in the U S Marine Corps, called his parents par-ents Saturday night. Raymond Hooper, serving with the Air Force called his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Preston Hooper, Saturday from North Carolina. Morris Warren who is stationed sta-tioned with the U. S. Army in Mr. and Mrs. Harold De- Graw have had the company of their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Felix and baby daughter of Kearns, at their home. The Mapleton Jaycee Wives held their November meeting at the home of Mrs. Kenneth Harmer where the, evening was spent watching films of Samoa, shown by Marilyn Whiting who spent two years there as a missionary. A short business meeting erra Bonita Club at her home Friday evening. A delicious hot supper was served early in the evening followed by Five Hundred. Hun-dred. Prizes were won by Barbara Bar-bara Murray and Beth Jensen. Enjoying the evening were Fern Crandall, Lenore Bills, Beth Jensen, Iva Snow, Gen Allan, Myrl Diamond, LaRie Warren and hostess. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Casper and daughter Linda of Salt Lake City were Sunday guests at the home of Mrs. Lilly Hop-la. Hop-la. Mrs. Douglas Jensen, (Barbara) (Bar-bara) has gone to' Fort Ben-ning Ben-ning Georgia to spent three months with her husband who is stationed . there in Officers Training school. Joan Hall is home after spending three weeks in Bur-bank, Bur-bank, California, where she has been visiting with her sister sis-ter and brother-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Verl Taylor. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ross Hall. Her brother Allan is in the Spanish Fork hospital with an ear infection. was conducted by president Mrs. Paul Jensen after which a delicidus luncheon was served ser-ved to thirteen members by Mrs. Wave Miguel assisted by Mrs. Fred Medved, Mrs. Marty Perrero, and the hostess. Mapleton visitors during the past week have been Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Whiting of California Califor-nia who visited several relatives rela-tives and friends. ? A Halloween party was held . at the home of Mr. and Mrs. I John Westwood hosted by Mr. ! and Mrs. Lowell Lyman. The guest list included ten couple all attired in costumes. A slumber party was enjoyed at the home of Phyllis Jackson Jack-son following the school party Friday night. Guests were Linda Lin-da Tippetts, Ranae Cazier, Susan Su-san Ellis and Vicki Hooper. Mrs. Rebecca Fullmer was hostess to the members of Si- dish towels, and woven rugs, will be available as well as novelties, white elephants, quilts, fresh baked home made cake and pies, cookies and pop corn balls as well as apples and other produce. Spending ten days in Killeen, Texas are Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Bleggi accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Bleggi and their daughter Jan Marie. They will visit Mr. and Mrs. Howard Fly-gare Fly-gare (Patsy) who have a new baby girl born October 25. Mr. Flygare is serving in the U. S. Army. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Miguel of Arnold's Park, Iowa are spending two weeks at the home of their son and his family, fam-ily, Wave Miguel. Mapleton Lady Lions were honored guests at a banquet Thursday evening in Memorial Hall given by the Lions. President Presi-dent Jack Canto was in charge of the program which featured Thorit C. Hebertson of Orem as the guest speaker. His topic was "Civil Defense." Other members of the program committee com-mittee were Reid Hales and Wm. Whiting. Mrs. Wm. Whiting and Mrs. Reid Hales were in charge of the banquet. Beautiful fall flowers lent charm to the tables. Reid Hales held the lucky number' for the evening. Folks are reminded of the food and apron sale today in the Mapleton ward chapel sponsored by the Relief Society So-ciety of the Mapleton ward as a benefit.
