Show Funeral Services Held Monday for Harold P. Miner Funeral services were held in the Third-Ninth ward church Monday, for Harold P. Miner, 40, well-known resident of Springville, who died Friday morning of a short illness at the family residence, 159 West Center. Bishop Clarence L. Jensen was in charge of the services. Military rites were conducted at the Evergreen cemetery, by the American Legion Post No. 28, with burial by Wheeler Mortuary. Harold was born March 17, 1918, at Lehi, son of Paul C. and Ethel Bunker Miner. He was a graduate of Springville hiP-h school and attended the BYU. He married Edith Teas-dale Teas-dale of Springville", Jan. 6, 1943 in the Salt Lake Temple. Mr. Miner was active in the LDS Church, holding the office of-fice of Seventy. He served a 2 year mission in Brazil, served ser-ved as ward clerk, chairman of the Genealogy Society, and was also active in Cub Scouting. Surviving are his widow and two children, Shirley and Rex Miner of Springville. Also surviving sur-viving are his father and stepmother, step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. Paul C. Miner of Bakersfield, Calif., and sisters, Mrs. C. H. (Ina) Pitcher of Quebec, Canada, and Mrs. C. A. (Norma) Hartley of San Lorenzo, Calif. |
